Talk Talk Talk

Hi I am Mike Mort’s Mom, Kathy. I am Mike’s guest blogger this week. He is taking a week off to keep things fresh.

I just want to say a few things about Mike’s ability to talk.

He has touched so many lives with his talking! He started talking at an early age(14 months!) and has not (to our chagrin sometimes) shut up yet! As I am typing this he is having a heated discussion with Andy. They do this quite often and it for the most part is very entertaining to listen to! He pretty much can talk his way in or out of anything and he has always done this! Ask Mrs. Conese, she was his substitute teacher for a brief time in 2nd grade and he used to try to talk his way out of doing his work to go out to the playground. He talks when he is happy and really talks when he is upset. He can talk about most subjects. Politics is one of his favorite subjects, my dad’s neighbor called him the little politician when he was 2 years old because he could talk any adult into doing anything (that might have been because he was really cute!).

Mike likes to talk about good causes too! He has been master of ceremonies with his dad at Make-A-Wish fundraising events, the people attending those don’t stand a chance of keeping their money!

Mike talks about movies with anyone who will listen. He talks music with Andy. He even is dabbling in sports these days! His words sometimes get him in trouble, but for the most part they are definitely worth listening too.
